Videocameras

A videocamera installed onboard, apart from recording any occurrances in front of the vehicle, is equipped with an accelerometer and it is GPS tracked. When a suddend variation is detected by the accelerometer (potentially an accident), the videocamera starts recording and:

 

1. Prevents or limits insurance frauds
2. Provides external “witnesses” and helps understanding the circumstances of serious accidents, also with potential contributory negligence. Drivers show higher awareness in presence of vidocameras onboard
3. Offers third party liability policies at discounted rates
